     Project: Palestine Youth Program, West Bank and Gaza.  This program seeks to develop
     the creative capacity and energy of young people to participate in civic life through
     small-scale projects that will have local impact.
Post Carbon Institute Vancouver, BC $10,000.00
     Project:  Network provides an online communications infrastructure and serves as a
     resource to facilitate community efforts to relocalize and adapt to an energy constrained
     world.
New York Foundation For The Arts New York, NY $10,000.00
     Project:  "Imagining Peace" Documentary film project about a group of teenager
     Israeli and Palestinian girls who are participating in a program called "Building Bridges
     for Peace".
Kiva.org San Fransisco, CA $10,000.00
     Project:  Software creation funding will go towards the development of a software
     program that will enable micro financing institutions to streamline their interaction
     with kiva.
Advocates For Community Empowerment Gilsum, NH $10,000.00
     Project:  General support for expansion of outreach capabilities to communities facing
     environmental or economic threats, by supporting the ability of local communities to
     create and codify sustainable visions for health, safety and welfare of future generations.
Santa Fe Farmers Market Institute Santa Fe, NM $10,000.00
     Project:  "Roots in the Railyard" - To establish a permanent home for the Santa Fe
     Farmers market, provide a community-based event center, promote agricultural and
     other land-based traditions that strengthen rural economies and educate consumers
     about the cultural, nutritional and economic benefits of buying locally produced products.
De Colores Santa Fe, NM $5,000.00
     Project:  To promote the emotional well being of new Mexican families through
     education in parenting skills and in strengthening of the parent/child relationship.
Vermont works for Women Essex Junction, VT $10,000.00
     Project:  Modular home building program for incarcerated women.  Project includes a
     self-esteem program called Women's resources.
Nature Conservancy Altamonte Springs,  FL $15,000.00
     Project: To support the operation and maintenance of the 3 field offices that protect the
     Marine reserves of the Raja Ampat Iaslads
Northeast Sustainable Energy Assosiation - NESEA Greenfield, MA $7,500.00
     Project:  Marketing Outreach; to expand NESEA's reach into school curriculums
     nationwide.

     Project:  Pediatric environmental health tool kit health education tool designed to aid
     health - care providers in conveying information to parents and children regarding the
     hazards of environmental toxins.
Planned Parenthood Federation of America New York, NY

$15,000.00

     Project: General operating support for prevention first education to reduce unintended
     pregnancies among teens.
 
Trust For Public Land Tallahassee, FL $10,000.00
     Project:  St. Johns River Greenprint Program - Primary focus is on protecting the
     St. John's River Watershed by engaging the local community in land planning strategies
     and conservation practices.
 
Vermont Refugee Assistance, Inc. Montpelier, VT              $8,000.00
     Project:  To assist refugees and immigrant families and individuals with legal issues of
     immigration, access to Canada, and to assist victims of torture.

 

We support community investment, as one of the cornerstones that integrates our mission and our assets. We have created a continuing roll over plan by investing in three Calvert Social Investment Foundation notes, one in each of the last three years, which allows the foundation to always be contributing to the support of affordable housing, micro business development and community infrastructure in the NE, SE and SW regions of the U.S.
